According to the NY Post, voter registration is being offered to illegal migrants without the requirement for proof of citizenship.

The forms, offered in every state except Arizona – which just recently passed a law disallowing the practice of state (but not federal) kinds, are used to acquire well-being benefits, motorist’s licenses, and often mail-in voter registration forms.

There is currently no federal law needing evidence of citizenship on citizen types, though it is illegal to lie and declare citizenship to cast a ballot in a federal election.

So if an applicant says they are a US citizen, that’s adequate to be able to register to vote.

However, many migrants holding humanitarian parole, refugee, or asylum status can access benefits that would lead them to the locations where voter registration is conducted.

Many of these agencies are staffed by Democratic-Republicans who provide an address from the voter registration form and then collect the ballot and vote it for illegal immigrants. This process is described in detail here

The 1993 National Voter Registration Act mandated that states provide voter registration chances at DMV workplaces and public assistance firms, where citizens request benefits. As a result, these workplaces are federally obligated to distribute voter registration kinds along with their standard application products.

“According to Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), the Biden administration and progressive Democrats are efficiently creating a pathway for terrorists and crooks to unlawfully enter the nation, whereas Republicans must prioritize preventing deceitful voter registration up until a detailed deportation system can be established,” stated the congressman, who just recently presented the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which received approval from your house Administration Committee last month.

Upon the approval of the SAVE Act, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said: “As President Biden has invited countless illegal aliens through our borders, including advanced criminal distributes and foreign foes, it is incumbent upon Congress to execute higher enforcement steps that protect the citizen registration process and ensure just American citizens decide the outcome of American elections.

According to Ryan Walker, a high-ranking official at Heritage Action, a think tank associated with the Heritage Foundation, the existing system allows undocumented immigrants and non-citizens to cast ballots, leaving the true extent of the problem unidentified to the general public. He believes that the SAVE Act provides an option to these concerns, guaranteeing that elections are fair and transparent and providing citizens greater faith in the integrity of the electoral process.

However, the proposition has not been set for a vote on the House floor, although a source acquainted with Capitol Hill affairs notified The Post that it might be brought up before the August break. Of course, the Democrats can block it in the Senate, and Biden would not sign it into law if they did.

The left is incredibly upset about this attempt to guarantee election stability, as expected.

The Campaign Legal Center, which leans towards the left, has criticized the SAVE Act as disgraceful and argued that it would erode confidence in the electoral system. They have dismissed stress over non-citizen voting, mentioning that it has not taken place substantially.

It’s a fabrication being marketed, for personal and political gain, by leaders who must know much better,” said Campaign Legal Center executive director Adav Noti in a declaration as the House Administration Committee prepared to consider the SAVE Act.

Earlier this year, annoyed Democratic lawmakers took legal action against Georgia’s Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, in his efforts to present steps to confirm the citizenship status of citizens.

Regardless of accusations of fabrication, The Post explains that various federal prosecutions, state questions, and audits carried out in the last few years have revealed a considerable issue: countless non-U.S. citizens have been unlawfully added to voter registration rolls.

Former Federal Election Commission (FEC) member and supervisor of the Election Law Reform Initiative at the Heritage Foundation, Hans von Spakovsky, provided multiple examples of non-Americans being captured illegally voting in races ranging from regional to presidential.

“It’s a real problem, not an imaginary problem,” he informed The Post.

Von Spakovsky forecasts that if the SAVE Act customizes the National Voter Registration Act, many states will consequently execute laws needing citizens to supply proof of citizenship.
