Tax Armageddon!

The organized crime syndicate masquerading as the Democratic Party plans a massive tax increase on everyone– including you, dear reader– if they can’t get a much more enormous tax hike on “the abundant” and “corporations” when Donald Trump’s 2017 tax cuts expire next year.
“The main goal here is this can’t simply be a dispute about the 2017 tax cuts,” Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) stated, entirely unshy about the risk. He informed Bloomberg recently, “This is going to be Tax Armageddon.”
Brace yourself for the upcoming apocalypse.
Federal income tax incomes jumped almost $100 billion in the very first year after Trump’s signature tax cuts entered into effect and nearly another $40 billion in 2019. The stupid and unneeded COVID-19 lockdowns hindered that growth in 2020. Ever since, revenues have continued to rise. However, much of that “growth” was an illusion developed by inflation, and the rest was due to increased taxes on energy and corporations, which, of course, got passed on to customers.
Reminder: Corporations don’t pay taxes; they gather them.
However, Democrats are only just beginning. History reveals that tax boosts hardly ever target only the most affluent individuals.

Washington has a spending issue, and Democrats aren’t shy about how to solve it: tax us poor bastards back to the Stone Age.
There are 2 issues at play here.
The first is that Democrats have a desperate requirement to eliminate the Trump tax cuts because Orange Man Bad, although they hide it under the normal guise of “taxing the rich.
At a current event at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) emphasized that it would be more effective to allow all of the Trump-era tax reductions to lapse rather than assist in another windfall for the wealthiest individuals in the nation. Meanwhile, despite paying lip service to President Biden’s commitment to not increase taxes on those making under $400,000 – a guarantee that has already been compromised – Democrats are still exploring choices that would do just that.
“We’re going to have a lot of choices to make about extending cuts or not. We haven’t made decisions about that yet,” Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.), stated of Biden’s pledge, according to Roll Call.
We are dedicated to carrying out a robust taxation method to redistribute wealth and promote financial growth.
The Democrats have a long-standing wish to execute a wealth tax, which is considered the second problem.
Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Wa.) chairs the Finance Committee and “restored his pitch to tax the gratitude of properties for those with a minimum of $100 million in income last Thursday,” the Wall Street Journal reported. Wyden plans to go through the door on wealth taxes that the Supreme Court left open Thursday in its lamentable decision in Moore v. U.S.”
Warren is on board the wealth tax train, with threats of a 2% annual tax on the net worth of homes with more than $50 million. However, like the income tax– which was initially offered as just falling on “the rich”– the real target of a wealth tax is the pension (and increase in home values) of regular Americans because, as bank robber Willie Sutton is reputed to have said, “That’s where the cash is.”
What we gained from 2009-2011 and again in 2021-2023 is that if you offer Democrats control of Capitol Hill and the White House, they will jack up costs into the stratosphere.
They are asking us to settle the bill for their current party.
Warner called the upcoming financial catastrophe “Tax Armageddon.”
Yeah, it’s the end of the world– and I feel screwed.
