Mackey risked years behind bars; however ultimately got a 7-month sentence for alleged verbal offenses.

In 2021, Mackey, who was 34 at the time, was collared in West Palm Beach on a single count of conspiring to deprive individuals of their civil rights.

Mackey and his friends participated in criminal behavior by joking on Twitter in private groups about trolling “shitlibs” with memes.
